President Job Role

Job Summary: The President must be a strategic leader with a strong background in real estate management and sales, capable of driving the company towards achieving its business goals while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. The President oversees all company operations, including marketing, sales, property management, maintenance coordination, support, and accounting, ensuring seamless collaboration between departments to deliver outstanding service to our clients and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership and Vision: Set the strategic direction of the company, aligning with the company’s mission and objectives. Lead the company in achieving its financial and operational goals.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the Vice President of Operations and ensure efficient management of the Property Manager Department, Maintenance Coordination Department, Support Department, and Accounting Department.
  • Sales and Marketing Oversight: Direct the marketing function, utilizing external contractors effectively to enhance brand presence and market reach. Manage the sales team, including the Director of New Accounts, Leasing Managers, and the Renewal Coordinator, to achieve sales targets and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Brokerage Duties: Fulfill all responsibilities of the Principal Broker for the firm, ensuring compliance with Virginia real estate laws and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive, collaborative work environment for a diverse team of 35 members, including those based in the US and remotely in Mexico and the Philippines.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the company’s financial activities, including budgeting, reporting, and financial strategy, to ensure the company's financial health and growth.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including property owners, tenants, employees, and external partners.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field. An MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven leadership experience in a senior management role within the real estate or property management industry.
  • License: Active real estate broker license in Virginia

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of Virginia’s real estate laws and regulations.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading a diverse team and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving growth and operational excellence.
